Holding Muharram rituals in Iran in photo

Iranians are holding Muharram rituals all over the country observing health protocols.

People all over Iran have been holding the mourning rituals of the month of Muharram.

The first ten days of the month of Muharram are the time for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shia Imam and the grandson of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], as well as his loyal companions in the Battle of Karbala.

Different cities of Iran are hosting crowds of people who come together to mourn the massacre of Karbala.
